    Can you provide details of the slogam and actions required to perform normal Neivedhyam at home ?
    Also the details of the slogams and actions to say / do before eating food and at the conclusion of the meal.

    In both instances, the meaning behind these will guide all, especially our cynical youngsters !

      Nivedhyam slokam – Om Bhurbhuvassuvah thathsavithur varenyam bhargo devasya dheemahi dhiyoyonah prachothayaath.devah savitha prasoova, sathyam thvarthena parishinchayami, amrutham bhavathu, amruthopastharnamasi svaaha, om praanaaya svaaha, om apanaaya svaaha, om vyanaaya svaaha, om udhaanaaya svaaha, om samaanaaya svaaha, om brahmane svaaha, (whatever you are offering say the sanskrit name for the dravyam) nivedhayaami, nivedhyaanantharam aachamaneeyam samarayami, madhye madhye paaneeyam samarpayami, hasthou prakshaalayami, paadhou prakshaalayami, punaraachamaneeyam samarpayami.
